We regret to inform you that, effective immediately, SpankyStokes.com will have to cease operations. As you might've seen in this morning's newspapers, the race of Strolls have been discovered, photographed (pictured above), and — most recently — interacted with. Upon being introduced to the internet via a cell phone, the initially docile and huggable creatures became outraged and litigious when they stumbled across our website with a mascot made in their image. The Strolls immediately contacted a lawyer and have filed a cease-and-desist against SpankyStokes until resolution of monies owed due to likeness rights violations can be properly sorted. John Stokes's lawyer has requested that he remain silent on the matter, but rest assured that we intend to fight this legal action and hope for a resolution in our favor.
Please Note: Happy April Fool's Day! The above post is a joke and in no way reflects — to the best of our knowledge — anything that is actually occurring.
