Josh Mayhem's "The Demon Fett" LEGO™ figure for 1AM Gallery show!

Josh Mayhem reveals his large scale piece — it stands roughly a full foot tall! — made completely out of LEGO™ pieces! Yes, the base is a Boba Fett LEGO™ Clock that has been altered strictly by adding LEGO™ Hero Factory pieces to it. Made for the upcoming "Designing Outside the Lines" group show, which embraces the giant LEGO™ figure platform, this piece is entitled "The Demon Fett." Like me, Mayhem's favorite toy growing up were LEGO™s, so I completely appreciate that he fully recognized the power of the medium… you can easily use LEGO™s to customize LEGO™s, that's what they were made for!

"Designing Outside the Lines" will open on April 26th with a reception from 6:30-9:30PM and be available for viewing until May 25th, 2013 at the 1AM Gallery, 1000 Howard St., San Francisco, CA 94103.
