Studio UAMOU's five "Uamou & Boo" one-offs for Monsters From The Island!

Ayako Takagi's Studio UAMOU has created what appears to be five one-off "Uamou & Boo" figures for the previously announced upcoming neo-kaiju & sofubi show at Clutter. Each one seems to have the sofubi in a different color with micro-beading bubbling over the entire surface… it's a great looking effect, though I'm not certain if it would affect Boo's ability to fit on Uamou's horn. Either way, amazing! With so few pieces, we're thinking demand will be high and thus getting on Clutter's Gallery Preview List — which allows recipients to purchase pieces prior to the opening — seems to be key…

"Monsters from the Island," a group neo-kaiju & sofubi show guest curated by Monster Island NYC, will open on Saturday, March 9th with a reception from 6-9PM and be available for viewing through April 6th, 2013 at The Clutter Gallery, 163 Main St., Beacon, NY 12508.
