A massive coming together of talent,
Silent Stage have partnered once again with
Lightsleepers to create a massive "meet and greet" party at
808 Urban (685 Auahi Street, Honolulu, HI 96813). Called "Barnyard Animals," this sick event is not only free and all ages but will allow attendees to hang out with some amazing creators (and get some awesome exclusives too!). Taking place from 8PM to 11PM Pacific time tonight (Monday, February 11th, 2013), you can give high fives to
Scribe, Alisa Ross,
Jim Mahfood,
Angry Woebots and
CkaweekS while the juicy tunes of Lightsleepers'
DJ Kavet the Catalyst play! But, what you really want to know is, what exclusives will be onhand…
Aaron "Angry Woebots" Martin will these "Blackout GID Chopper" pieces, which are clear black resin with glow-in-the-dark bonehead skulls inside. Limited to only 20 pieces, each one comes in a laser engraved wooden box for $100 apiece.
And though 6 of these "Shark Bee" resin figures by Scribe were previously sold on his website, the remaining 9 in the run are exclusive to the event. Each of these 6.5-inch tall sculptures, composed of four separate resin pieces and a fabric strap, have been hand-painted, assembled, and numbered by Scribe personally. Not a bad deal for only $150 each!
Alisa Ross hand-made these 8-inch tall plush volcanoes, called "Volcaniclz," and limited them to a mere 8 copies: 3 in red and 5 in yellow. At only $25 each, you know these will go fast!
Jim "The Food One" Mahfood is bringing this "DIY Beat Bee" along for the ride. Each 3-inch white resin bee comes with a faux cassette tape as well and, for only $15 each, these things will fly. Though there is no notation of limitation, so there might be many or very few available…
And, finally, we have CkaweekS's "Hamajang Hawaii" Print Series 1. Made in an edition of 40 copies, these 8" x 10" giclée on 300gsm cold press fine art paper pieces will only run you $20 each.
