Jay222's custom Swanicorns for Daniel Fleres x Dragatomi show!

Most people never have the chance to not only create but personally breed (er, customize) their own Swanicorn, let alone two of them, but that's exactly what Jay222 was able to do! Well, to be fair, Jay222 didn't get to customize two of the majestic Daniel Fleres designed beasts, he just made two beasts out of one… For the previously announced "The Gathering" group exhibition at Dragatomi, Jay222 crafted the "Swanicorn Ash on ice" (pictured above and below left), which pays homage to the classic Evil Dead & Army of Darkness character portrayed by Bruce Campbell, and the "Taun Taun a Corn" (pictured below right), which is inspired by the classic beast from Star Wars. A truly fantastic sculpted job transformed the Swanicorn into something new… while still letting it stay somewhat true to it's roots.

"The Gathering" opens on March 9th, 2013 with a reception from 6-9PM at Dragatomi, 2317 J St., Sacramento, CA 95816.
