Still reeling over the fact that
Amanda Louise Spayd is venturing into completely resin cast figures (as
previously announced), it now comes to light that she has also created a cold-cast brass sculpture for her upcoming show with Chris Ryniak at
Stranger Factory (more information on the show
HERE). While the cold-cast brass version is pictured on the left in finished form, it's unclear if the picture on the left is of the mold sculpt used in creation or a different cast of the same beastie (it kinda looks like it's made out of plaster, concrete or some porous rock to me). Expect more exciting updates and revelations as the opening nears…
