Kidrobot Black X Blaine Fontana - "Domestic Hunger" designer vinyl sculpture

Well look what we have here, a first glimpse at Kidrobot's new 'Black' designer toy sculpture... and hot damn does this look cool! Designed by Portland based artist Blaine Fontana, "Domestic Hunger" features all the natural nuances that that Blaine normally exposes in his art, with a dark twist! "Like a siren, Domestic Hunger lures. Grounded by gleaming roots spreading from its base, its glossy upturned roof and weathered texture speak of home. A home with pointed teeth and hungry tongue. Like an insatiable pet, it must be fed." One aspect that we noticed right off the bat was the stark contrast of the monochromatic bird house and roots against that red bird and the gaping mouth of the house... truly exquisite! Measuring 17" tall, this art piece is limited to just 200 pieces worldwide... all of which come hand numbered with the artist’s signature engraved on the back. These are also packaged in a display box, and "Domestic Hunger" also has two options for installation – hanging or wall mounted.
