"Gizmos & Gadgets" group show at the Bottleneck Gallery!

Even though the above promotional image for the upcoming "Gizmos & Gadgets" group show at the Bottleneck Gallery proudly displays a Rambo-inspired Gizmo combating one of his titular antagonists in Gremlins 2, it is our understanding that this exhibition will focus on designs highlighting the "material items made popular by your favorite movies, television shows and books." These, of course, could include everything from those 'wonderful toys' that Batman always sports, the famed watch of Dick Tracy, any of the creations Q concocts for James Bond and… well, the list just keeps going on. Like many of their shows, we're anticipating the pieces to be limited edition prints and not one-off original paintings; which means reasonable prices and greater availability!

"Gizmos & Gadgets" opens on January 18th with a reception from 7-10PM and will be on display through February 3rd, 2012 at the Bottleneck Gallery, 60 Broadway R4, Brooklyn, NY 11249.
