It's been a little while since we have had any updates to share on our "Stroll" progress, and per our previous post
HERE,
HERE, and
HERE we are getting closer and closer to the next step in our efforts, with the help from Scott W. over at
Shinbone Creative,
to take the SpankyStokes.com "Stroll" mascot into 3D form... and
ultimately ready for toy production. In the image above, you can see that we have entered the detailing stage. This was the first pass, and it's very apparent that "Stroll" has hair now... not to mention toenails, claws, and horns! For this round... I really liked the direction we were going, but was not 100% on the "fur" as is was more like "Hair"... too precise, too groomed, not patchy enough... and below you can see the edited figure.
As you can tell, the fur is getting there, it's more monster like, more animal if you will... and it's really on the right path! Scott also put a little more detailing on the toes and the nails. For the second pass I asked for these revisions: The hair on his head looks a little tame and matted down... if you look at my logo/guy his hair is sticking up, and not matted down. Also, the eyebrow is too flat across, please give it a little attitude with a dip... similar to the SS.com logo. Lastly, the mouth... same kind of thing I am asking for the brow, maybe a little curve/dip. We are getting there, and hopefully we can share with you more in the near future. If you are looking to
get a figure created and fully realized...
Shinbone Creative is your ticket, hit them up! More on the progress of our "Stroll" very soon!
