Cris Rose's Robotones 2013 Details have been announced!

As pictured above in a complete set (minus the final thirteenth freebie one), the Robotones 2012 series is over and done with. The Robotones are dead, long live the Robotones! Oh, wait, they're not dead… just changing. Cris Rose has announced that there will be a Robotones 2013 series, but it will have only one sculpt (exclusive to the Robotones series) and there will be 10 colorways, available March through December. But the biggest change is that it will not be an open edition release; each month, the Robotone will be limited to roughly 15-20 copies strictly. With a "still reasonable" price tag, though higher than the $25 per piece we got this year, there will also be an extremely small number of Robotone 2013 Subscription slots; between 5 and 10 people that will pay in advance for all 10 Robotone figures but also receive "a bonus colour figure and the opportunity to commission fully painted and rusted versions of the Robotone Sculpt," which "will be the ONLY way of getting this sculpt as a fully painted bot, no others will be ever be sold." These subscriptions won't be available for sale until the sculpt and colors have been revealed in the new year.
