Ritzy Periwinkle's "And you will know me by the trail of dead: 2.0" sculpture... is AMAZING!!!

Ritzy Periwinkle has kinda been off the grid for a bit... but that doesn't mean she hasn't been grinding... in fact she just completed a piece for a show she's in called "Purple" at the Causey Contemporary Gallery in Brooklyn NYC. It opens TODAY, October 19th and runs through November 19th. Ritzy tells us that the line up is 12 women artists including Lady Pink, Miss Van, Queen Andrea and more... so she's in good company! Oh, and needless to say, Ritzy went all out with her piece titled "And you will know me by the trail of dead: 2.0"... holy smokes is this amazing!

Ritzy tells us that when the curators asked her to participate they specifically asked for a 3D piece... so with the theme she decided to re-visit her Santa Muerte character piece that she did for Art Basel 2011 that received an amazing response and sold. As you can see, her current piece has a darker color scheme and is triple the size of the last one, standing at a little over 2ft... I am seriously blown away, like WOAH!!!! I could look at this all day long, and to be honest if Ritzy just did statues like this - making them her signature piece - I wouldn't be mad at all! It look friggen sick!!!
