Dust's "Dark Maya" figure release!!!

German based artist Dust just dropped word on his upcoming solo exhibition which will also be the release of a new sculptural piece he is calling "Dark Maya". He show will be held on 12/21/12... and for those of you who have been following this end of the world stuff... that's the day that the Mayan Calender states will be the end of us! Dust mentions that the "Dark Maya" figure will be created as a series of 100 pieces, in 3 different colorways, and a special series limited to 10 pieces. I really do like the ominous nature of this figure, and one thing I dig the most about it is that even though its supposed to be a figure, it does not really have that humanoid form to it... something very fresh for my eyes. I really like the use of textures along with the smooth surfaces... great stuff!!! There is no word on a size, material type, or a cost... but once this get released, I will update this post!
