The latest resin sculpts by
Tony “Titanium” Montalvo and his Brother Christian ”Xian” Montalvo called “ZEMIS”. Zemis come from Taino legend. According to Tony, "
they can represent either a deity or the spirit of an ancestor. Typically the sculpture, which can be carved of various materials like bone, wood, shell or stone, can also contain that spirit which it is meant to depict. While many Taino deities are recognized by their individual names, Zemis are lesser divinities that can control natural forces. They are recognized as beings with supernatural and magic powers, consulted for wisdom and healing by those regarded as medicine people. Zemis are relative to the Greater Antilles: Dominican Republic, Cuba, Puerto Rico and other Caribbean islands." These Zemis are hand sculpted and cast in resin, available in a variety of colors and custom paint jobs. They make their debut at New York Comic con booth #3311. Also, available at the booth are his rad custom Titanium robots of the silver centurion Ironman, The Sentinels, and some other surprises. So please show your love and stop by for look... I know I will!!!
