Sawdust Bear's bug sculptures for Stranger Factory show!

What's rapidly shaping up to be one of the most diverse and interesting sculptural group shows of the year is the upcoming Stranger Factory "Subterrane" exhibit. And it makes me quite happy to see this entire wall of work-in-progress pieces for it from Shing Yin Khor, better known to some as the Sawdust Bear. The only thing not for "Subterrane" is the mermaid piece, but that leaves a lot of amazing bugs that'll be making their way to Albuquerque…

"Subterrane" is a group sculpture exhibit set to premiere in November 2012 at Stranger Factory, 109 Carlisle Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87106. Participating artists include: Carisa Swenson (Goblinfruit Studio), Shing Yin Khor (Sawdust Bear), Valency Genis, Melita Curphy (Miss Monster), Yosiell Lorenzo and Shea Brittain (FrankenFactory).
