Gary Ham's custom piece for the Giant Robot "Biennale 3" show!

"Grrrr… argh…," mutters Gary Ham, as his newest custom is captured on film. "Someone was bound to do it." Oh yes… created for the previously announced and upcoming "Giant Robot Biennale 3" group UglyDolls/GRmascot custom show, I love Ham's conversion of the figure into a Frankenstein's monster. And, if he was right and some was bound to do it, I'm certainly happy it was him… just look at how cute Frankie is!

The "Giant Robot Biennale 3" opens on September 22nd and runs through January 20th, 2013 at the Japanese American National Museum, 369 East First St., Los Angeles, CA 90012. Featured exhibition artists are: Rob Sato, Deth P. Sun, Ako Castuera, Eishi Takaoka, Saelee Oh, Sean Chao, Albert Reyes, and Zach Gage. Also on display is the Project Remix custom vinyl show with over 80 artists from seven countries.
