FrankenFactory's chess set sculptures for Stranger Factory show!

We'd previously shown you one of Shea "FrankenFactory" Brittain's pieces for the upcoming Stranger Factory "Subterrane" group sculpture exhibit, and now we have a second… or, perhaps, that's a second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh, depending on how you look at it. These work-in-progress sculpts will be for a custom made chess set, the pieces being (L-R, back row first): Knight, Queen, King, Bishop, Pawn and Rook. The final sculpts will be cast in resin and hand-painted… though, for those unable to attend the "Subterrane" opening, Brittain is planning a version for Designer Con as well…

"Subterrane" is a group sculpture exhibit set to premiere in November 2012 at Stranger Factory, 109 Carlisle Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87106. Participating artists include: Carisa Swenson (Goblinfruit Studio), Shing Yin Khor (Sawdust Bear), Valency Genis, Melita Curphy (Miss Monster), Yosiell Lorenzo and Shea Brittain (FrankenFactory).
