Tim Biskup's Nurse With Wound inspired painting for MiXTAPE show!

Tim Biskup has created the above piece of art for the upcoming "MiXTAPE" group show at the LeBasse Projects in Chinatown, Los Angeles. The 24 artists in the show are each creating a piece that references a single song or artist, thus — when seen as a whole — they've created the visual version of the classic mixtape. Biskup's contribution is a reference to the progressive post-psychedelic electronic "band" Nurse With Wound, or — as NWW is sometimes noted — "purveyors of sinister whimsy to the wretched."I still play my LP copy of "Brained by Falling Masonry" from time to time, so thank you Mr. Biskup for reminding me its about time I put it on again…
