Ryan the Wheelbarrow's custom "From the Gut" Munny for Munky King show!

Created for the "Memories Are Made Of This" group art show, Ryan the Wheelbarrow's "From the Guts" is a custom 4-inch Foomi. Part of Ryan's ongoing [O8STACLES] design 'series,' this figure looks fantastic but if it relates to childhood memories, as pieces in the show are intended to, then it is something deeply personal to Ryan and not obvious. The layering of strips on the vinyl looks fantastic and does make me recall, slightly, the craft projects of youth…

"Memories Are Made Of This" opens on August 18th, 2012 with a reception from 4-8PM. It doubles as a 13th Birthday celebration for Super Cooper Berella and a final "Hurrah!" for Munky King before they close their Melrose location at the end of the month.
