Travis Louie's "Spirits" art show at Stranger Factory!

Travis Louie's upcoming solo show "Spirits" is inspired by the earliest American Spiritualism, though as tweaked through his twisted vision of gentleman giant, courteous cyclops and suited skeletons as well as ectoplasmic entities. This exhibition will occur at Stranger Factory, starting August 3rd, and will be supported by a rare "Tonal Illustration Workshop" by Louie. The workshop, taking place on Sunday, August 5th from 3PM to 6PM, serves as a wonderful introduction by a skilled master into the use of graphite, liquid graphite, ink washes, pastels and gouache on paper to achieve tonality.

"Spirits" will open on August 3rd with a reception from 6-9PM and will run through September 3rd, 2012 at Stranger Factory, 109 Carlisle Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87106.
The workshop will also take place at Stranger Factory, with attendance limited to 12 people and a cost of $100 per attendee.
