PJ Constable's custom "KidClops" Kidrobot Mascot Bot!
PJ Constable's "KidClops" is the customizers first attempt at manipulating the Kidrobot Mascot (or Bot) platform, which I think he did a more than admirable job with. Lots of seamless sculpted elements, including those elongated arms, that all fit perfectly. To me, personally, the distended cycloptic eye looks strange — not quite housed in a socket in the skull, not quite affixed to an eyestalk — but that's completely an individual taste thing. The only failing I do notice, though, is the heavy paint lines around the base of each sculpted "Liberty" mohawk spike; surely the result of trying to clean up some stray splotches for appearance, those lines are quite heavy. Otherwise, this is a fantastic piece that one lucky Bot collector commissioned!
*** UPDATE *** We've been informed by Constable that he's actually working on fixing those lines, so consider the above a work-in-progress rather than completed. Apologies for the confusion.
