Bruscolino Art Toys's Melma & Baby Melma resin figure set!

Italian artist Marco "Bruscolino" Sgammotta has crafted this duo of rough hewn art brut style sculpts which he then hand-cast as a limited run of 10 signed & numbered resin sets. Entitled "Melma & Baby Melma," I find it interesting that melma is the Italian word for mire (as in a swampy bog or marsh)… because their form and coloration did immediately summon images of frogs in my head, which are just the sort of slimy critters you'd find in a mire.
