VISEone's custom comic stripped "Hobbes" Qee honors Bill Watterson!

At the beginning of the year, VISEone paid a loving homage to Bill Watterson's Calvin and Hobbes comic strip in the form of a 16" custom Qee. What surely started as a passion project for the artists quickly became a high demand piece in his oeuvre, which spurred VISEone to revisit the concept in a limited edition run of 3 custom 8" Qees. Each one is carefully resculpted with apoxy clay before being tightly coated in a collage of images from the comic strip. Then some semi-transparent acrylics are applied, with a little intentional looseness to the line, much like Watterson exhibited throughout his wonderful career. And, in the end, you have the most brilliant looking tribute to the character of Hobbes — and the unlimited creativity of youth — that you could ever ask for.
