WHAT'S NEW

Troy Stith x Mark Nagata - "Yuudoku" figure header card revealed... along with wax cast and resin prototype!

It appears that Troy Stith has been quite busy lately... with a very BIG project as he has teamed up with Mark Nagata of Max Toy Company to collaborate on a brand new figure dubbed "Yuudoku", which was sculpted by Troy... how cool is that?!?!? Troy goes on to share with us that with the help of his friend Marc Fulton, they finished Yuudoku's header card last night for his upcoming release, and as you can see... something toxic is coming our way, and below is a little backstoy about this beast!!!!
"Born off the Coast of Kikorman Island, Yuudoku lived a happy life among the reefs in the crystal blue waters. He enjoyed being surrounded by his friends and providing housing for them and their kin. All of that changed when greedy tankers began dumping toxic waste into the pristine waters. While no one knew these dastardly deeds were being committed, the results began to change and warp the once pure waters of Kikorman Bay.

Left with the choice of fleeing to cleaner waters or death, Yuudoku’s friends began to disappear. The tankers eventually moved on to spread their filth elsewhere, but Yuudoku’s friends still fled. It wasn’t the boats that they were afraid of anymore, it was him. Yuudoku had mutated into a hulking tentacled beast. His body that was once a home had become a poisonous wasteland. Plumes of toxins spewed from his back, making it impossible for his friends to be close to him without endangering their lives. He found himself alone; radiating with angry despair. Yuudoku vowed revenge against those who brought this dismal fate upon him."

Oh, and check out what was also released today... photos of the resin master as well as a quick shot of the wax sculpt. Although these pics were taken before it was cut in half, and the tentacles were held on with clay just for the pics. Troy mentions that Yuudoku will be articulated in both tentacles and at the waist. His eye will be removable and will come in a whole slew of color variations as the different versions are released. This is a great looking monster... very Hedorah'ish, IMHO... and I can imagine all kinds of customizers going to town on this figure.
