Gomi's custom 8" Dunny for the "Most Wanted" show at 1AM Gallery!

Inspired by the West African myth of Anansi, the spider trickster god, we have Mark "Gomi" Troup's 8-inch-tall custom Dunny for the upcoming "Most Wanted: Behind The Hype" gallery show. While the piece's dashiki shirt is a "nod" to the origins of the inspiring myth, I don't think anyone has to know that to be wowed by the fantastic work that went into making this piece: the intricately sculpted hairs, the beautifully perfect eyes, everything just seems spot on.

"Most Wanted: Behind The Hype" (more information HERE) opens on May 11th (6:30-9:30PM) and runs through June 10th at the 1AM Gallery, 1000 Howard St., San Francisco, CA 94103.
