threeA to release Ambush from Real Steel… The most articulated figure ever!

Say what you want about the movie Real Steel, but it had boxing robots and that's good enough for me; and, it would seem, that also satisfies the fellas over at threeA. They've just announced this amazingly detailed release of "Ambush," one of the boxing bots from the film. Done in 1/6th scale, this 16.5" tall giant is being touted as "second to none" in terms of articulation, "with countless moving parts" from "pistons to sliding biceps, all the details are there!" And what's more: illuminating eyes!

The controller, shown above right, is a Bambaland exclusive accessory; which means, obviously, you should try to get your copy there. Ambush will be available to pre-order on April 17th, 9AM HKT at Bambaland for $290 (shipping included). Then threeA distributors BBICN, Good Smile and Sideshow will be taking pre-orders starting on May 1st, though their version does not include the controller.
