Just last week
we showed off the amazing new custom Munny series by
Kevin Gosselin, a 10 piece run of "Amun-ny-Ra!" Above are finished pics of one of the pieces and we have some more info: It started life as a private commission that then — with the permission of the collector — was morphed into a 10 piece resin cast run. Each signed & numbered resin munny has been hand-painted for that weathered look, as were the accompanying resin bases. The bases are inscribed with Egyptian hieroglyphs: the obelisks read "1 Munny KidRobot, Kevin Gosselin, 2012" alongside the client's name and the base is inscribed with the words "Tell me why I had to be a power slave?"
There will only be 8 copies of this figure available for sale; they will be dropping in
Gosselin's web store HERE on April 14th at 10AM PST with a price of $225 each. I'll be shocked if these aren't all snagged up within minutes…
