Hine Mizushima's piece for Supahcute's show at Leanna Lin's Wonderland!

How can you go wrong when you've got a redhead and an octopus? Yes, I realize that sounds like the tagline for some horrible 'sea creature attacks' monster movie, but it is rather an accurate statement about Hiné Mizushima's "Help Friends Make Things: I'll hold, you wind" felt construction. Created for the Supahcute Dream Team group show, I like the humor and look of this piece… it makes me smile and, some would say, that's a good thing.

"Art Too Cute For Words," curated by Supahcute, opens on May 12th and runs through June 24th at Leanna Lin's Wonderland, 5024 Eagle Rock Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90041.
