Buff Monster's "Legend of the Pink Cherry" and "The Melty Misfits" release @ Corey Helford Gallery 4/14/2012

We have been pumping this show up for what seems to be months now, and the time has finally come! Buff Monster's "Legend of the Pink Cherry" is a complete culmination of Buff's entire art career, and he puts it best by stating "I think the paintings are the best I’ve done. My intention was to tie together everything I’ve done over the last 11 years, and with some new inspiration and some new techniques, the pieces tell a fun narrative." Not only well there be a ton of new paintings depicting his new character based stylistic approach, but Buff will be debuting and releasing his latest project "The Melty Misfits" card series... which if you can't tell, is Buff's reinterpretation/nod to the old school Garbage Pail Kids trading cards. Buff mentions that "It has been a tremendous amount of work, but it was all worth it. I’m a die-hard Garbage Pail Kids collector and this is my ultimate homage." The original paintings for the cards will be on display, and the gallery will have single packs and unopened boxes where the unopened boxes have a complete set of cards, signed cards, a small poster and a variety of special cards and errors... and to top it off, Buff turns 33 tomorrow!!!!
