UME Toys's custom Mickey Mouses (Mice?) for Play Imaginative!

Play Imaginative's Mickey Mouse custom showcase continues to get new additions… and ones that impress. Richard Page aka UME Toys has done not one but two of the vinyl Mickey Mouse customs! Above is "Oswald," which looks like a classic Mickey Mouse in design except… um, are those bunny ears? Yes, it would appear Oswald is a rabbit; and Rich went all out sculpting perfect ears and round tail for the sucker. I mean, seriously, tell me you that doesn't look factory fresh? Damn…

And then we have Rich's "Bud T" version, a cyclops that wouldn't've fit in with Clash of the Titans. Yup, just a bit on the cartoony looking side… but I love it. Very inventive flipping the head like that to create the base he wanted and the sculpt of all the face details looks pretty damn good. I'm especially found of the controlled dirty look that Rich accomplished, which is done in a solid balance — not so much as to obscure the main paint job but strong enough to be noticeable & change perception of the whole as a  result. All in all, Rich knocked two out of the park!
