Josh Mayhem's "White Rabbit" Bellicose Bunny for the Nathan Hamill x Toy Art Gallery exhibit!

While the Nathan Hamill organized "Bellicosity" group show at the Toy Art Gallery might no longer be the 'buzz,' it is still quite relevant and thus we certainly didn't mind when Josh Mayhem sent us pics of his piece… "The White Rabbit w/ Deathray." I love the look of the Deathray; it honestly looks like that's how it was meant to be made, while you can still spot the base carrot platform underneath… a tricky area in customizing that Mayhem did well here. As for his rabbit, I love the pocket watch which informs just about any viewer that this is a twisted Wonderland… but "The Askew Rangers" design seems out of place here, perhaps even distracting with it's big, bold color swatches; maybe it's just me, but I find I have to cover up the bunny in order to focus on the Deathray. Still — all in all — an outstanding piece.
