Fuller Designs's "Grrr" skatedeck shows off a monster in a tiger costume!
Some might recall Fuller Designs's "Grrr" custom that he did last year, which detailed… wait, why am I telling you this? Let the artist himself speak:
The story behind Grrr is he is a little monster that lives in the forest. He doesn't want to be a monster so he dresses up like a tiger and runs around growling and scaring the little forest animals. I still love grrr and I wanted to dedicate my next board to that character. I will be doing a whole campaign revolving around this character. I have T-shirts, pins and even a plush in the works for him.And while the future of this character seems bright, let's focus on the skateboard deck (design above left). I love the new skool style of the art, bold lines with cartoonish characters… and it absolutely works for Grrr himself, which is the most important part. These decks will be pretty standard — 32" long x 8.5" wide — but limited to only 10 copies, each signed and numbered by the artist. Each deck will run you $60 and, while expected to be released in May, are available for pre-order HERE now.
