Frank Mysterio decorates Ce Tochtli, a new vinyl toy inspired by the Olmec, Aztecs & Mayans!
Frank Mysterio did a great job customizing this new platform, which is called Ce Tochtli by Ayn-Soph Art Toys. And while Mysterio's job is exquisite (you can see more pics HERE), I'm actually more intrigued by the platform itself. Meant to easily exhibit designs in the vain of the Olmecs, Mayans or Aztecs, Ce Tochtli very slightly resembles a bunny… but it has the wonderful, almost Luche Libre-esqe patterning on the face, with a traditional link design on the back of the head. And that is a Mexican "Day of the Dead" skull de-embossed into the rear. There's more on the the front and arms, but I can't see them clearly enough. But this new platform is completely meant for customizers, as it is only available in blank black and DIY white. And you know that some lucky bastard will get a bunch of these customized by all the Azteca Dunny contributors… and I can't wait to see those!
