Fplus's "Ice's Kiss Mammophant" custom Labbit & Dunny!
I'm going to be straight-up & honest: I'm completely biased here, because I love the work of Josh Pearce aka Fplus. Why this guy isn't a superstar in the custom community continues to baffle me. If you dig fantasy themes, amazing constructed customs, and paint jobs with depth, then Fplus is the man for you…
Entitled "Ice's Kiss Mammophant," this is a Labbit and Dunny custom piece. The paint job on the Labbit's skin is superb, every fold and crease feels completely real, and his eyes are wonderfully expressive. The "ice" formations are perfectly done… enough to express the cold without being so over-bearing that it hinders the other wonderful work done here. All that sculpted rigging on the Labbit (er, I mean, Mammophant) looks spot on… like "where did he buy that" versus "how did he build that" level. And the little touches, like the imperfect ladder that leads to the Dunny's catapult system, add that little extra realism that a fantasy piece needs.
The Dunny is insanely crafter too, especially considering the little details added… like his belt. Just gaze at the pictures, carefully, and try not to drool. Whoever owns this piece is one lucky dog!
And while this piece is not available, Fplus does have some pieces in his shop and he is currently accepting commissions for the year. If you're interested, please contact the artist at Josh [at] fplusnever [dot] com to work out pricing.
