It's been a little over a month since we
introduced you to 11-year-old toy designer Jacob Siegelbaum aka
JAMS (or, sometimes, Jacob Jams), who we aptly compared to
Super Cooper Berella for obvious reasons. Well, on his website JAMS has been teasing about a new piece which he calls "Mutation X51Z" and then
Tenacious Toys (who handled his first release) let the above image slip… and, yes, we're confident that this is indeed JAMS's next release.
Personally, I really dig this piece. It reminds me of the "Graboids" in
Tremors or the parasites from
Shivers; in other words, it just has that cool, mutant slug appeal. And who doesn't need some of that in their lives?
