"Street Art — The New Generation" featuring Invader, Toasters, Slinkachu, Dolk and many more
"Street Art — The New Generation" is a new, multi-site exhibit at the Pori Art Museum, Finland. Inside the museum, the London-based group Toasters have painted wall & window works (as shown above) and their film Everywhere is being shown in addition to the videos Pavement, by the Iranian brothers Icy & Sot, and Living Decay, made by Davide Fasolo and documenting the street art of Dolk & Pøbel on buildings ear-marked for destruction in their native Norway. Slinkachu is displaying photographs & lightboxes of his miniature figurine street art and Invader is showing mosiacs & portraits he's created using Rubik's Cubes.
Both inside the museum, outside the museum and around the city, their will be several pieces by street artists on display. Some names? Blu, Dolk, Magda Sayeg (of Knitta, Please), C. Finley, M-City, and Mentalgassi. Several Finish street artists will also be displayed, including: Bujahuli, Egs, Frank, Jussi TwoSeven, LA-Tino, P.A.Roni, Otto Maja, the Finish-Swedish artist Anton Wiraeus, and Lapro & Xeugux from the Multicoloured Dreams collective.
