Frank Kozik x Nike announced… prototype unveiled!

Still "a while out" from being released, Nike have thrown open their vault doors to reveal the future… the Kozik Quickstrike. Designed by Frank Kozik, you can see his style all over this with the military-themed color scheme. Kozik says he's "very happy with them" and that Nike were willing to do the brass grommets & lace tips that he specified… though there's a solid chance they couldn't allow him to put a cigarette anywhere on these kicks. No word on release date or tentative price, but Kozik will get 25 A/P pairs for his online store that he'll create special packaging for… possibly a stylized ammo box. More information as it breaks…

***UPDATE*** Due to massive misinformation regarding this release floating around, Kozik issued a mini-facts list via Facebook. In it we do learn that the design was made by Kozik to reflect the "1960's jet fighter pilot shoe" in both "colors and materials" used and the base model of sneaker is a Nike SB Dunk. The brass grommets we originally mentioned are painted black as are the lace tips and — in fact — the laces have been woven special for this release. And — for anyone that misunderstood — our original comment regarding putting a cigarette design on the sneakers was a joke, since it is an iconic symbol Kozik is noted for.
