Time for another UGLY UNICORN release update! This time around it's pieces that Jon M. of
Rampage Toys painted up for
Design Festa in Tokyo which is going down this weekend, November 12th and 13th. Jon will be at booth I-300 with 2 runs of new paint schemes for the event (one micro, and one slightly larger), and he plans on having quite a few other items as well. The first run is what he is calling the "
Original Ugliness" which is a micro-run: The Ugly Unicorn takes his original form! Mixed parts (yellow and white vinyl) with lots of rub/spray action.
Next up is the really fun and vibrant "
Army of Brightness" Ugly Unicorns! These figures have 8+ layers of spray/masking, and some super work-intensive screen printed header cards... which come with each of these figures. This marks the largest Ugly Unicorn run yet... 10 pieces, so for those heading out for the convention... your best bet is to try to snag one of those!
