NYCC 2011: J.C. Rivera

Chicago's own J.C. Rivera made the trip to NYCC 2011 to showcase a ton of his awesome painterly products, and before I cam to this con I had never seen any of J.C.'s work in person... but man I gotta say it is soooo nice, and is some of the best work I have ever seen. I don't really know if it's his stylistic approach to the work, his muted down color pallet, the subject matter, or if it's all of that combined, but his stuff just pops for me! I really did not have much time at all to talk to J.C. (kinda like most people there) but it was such a pleasure to meet him in person, and I look forward to many more customs in the future.
