Progress shots of "Bitsumo" the resin Sumo by DaiBot

It has been about 4 months since we have last heard/seen any info from Dai Tran aka DaiBot, the man behind the upcoming resin "Bitsumo" figure... but today we are getting a little sneak peak at some progress as it happens as the talented resin master Michael Gulen is piecing this bad boy out and casting all the needed parts to created this rad figure! According to Dai, the finished product will stand 3.3" tall, come with a hand-braided mawashi (diaper), removable helmet/hairpiece, it will also have 4 points of articulation and as you can see above is cast in 8 separate custom pieces! These were supposed to drop this July, but it seems to be pushed back a little bit... but stay tuned as the production is ramping up and the first run of these will be out very soon.
