Matthew Ryan Sharp's "The Show Must Go On" solo exhibit @ Screaming Sky Gallery 08/25/2011

After what seems to be a very long hiatus, artist Matthew Ryan Sharp has just been busy prepping for his next solo show... and in true carney fashion, this exhibition is titled "The Show Must Go On"! This is going to be Matthew's first ever West-Coast solo show, and the great folks over at Screaming Sky Gallery in Portland, Oregon are hosting this freak show... which by the way is a continuation of Matthew's show that was held at OhNo!Doom last May. He states "I am taking the carnival on the road to spread the cheer, whiskey & cigar smoke. I will have some existing works, new drawings and paintings, 2 new prints on top of the 5 I already have remains of and a small new batch of plush." Oh, and to add to the bunch of awesomeness, he decided to do some hand lettered signage... old school with striping brushes and One-Shot enamels. This is a new realm for him, I can guarantee he is going to slay it! The show opens next Thursday, August 25th and runs until September 25th... don't miss this one folks!
