"Bellator Columbidae" The Fighting Pigeon vinyl figure from Staple Design x adFunture

So I totally spaced on posting this... it was pre-SDCC and I got really swamped, but just remembered it so here we go! Posted up over on Staple Design is this rad looking pigeon vinyl figure that is based on a t-shirt graphic that was created a few years ago called “The Fighting Pigeon”. Fast forward to the present and a recent trip to China, they met with the team at adFunture Workshop who helped bring this once 2d image to life in the form of BELLATOR COLUMBIDAE (“Fighting Pigeon” in Latin).

As you can see from the photos, he looks quite large... and in fact he is as this guy stands 10″h, 11″w, 13d″... he also features an articulated head, wings, arms and feet along with his very own fitted Pigeon cap, plus a pigeon poop accessory... this guys has it all!!!! This is limited to 100 pieces and will be sold at Reed Space and other select retailers for around the $180 mark. Now, I know most of you New York folks have a fondness for the pigeon kind (Pon)... or maybe it just comes with the territory... but even not that into pigeons, I still dig this guy... maybe because it's such a huge piece of vinyl and I just love the attitude! Look for these to drop on Monday, August 15th 2011!
