Tonight Friday, July 15 2011, Corey Helford Gallery will debut “Idle Hands,” the highly-anticipated solo exhibition of pop artist COOP, and his opening also happens to be on the eve of LA’s impending “Carmadgeddon.” hahaha... go figure seeing as alot of his work is inspired by hot rodding and car culture! This new body of work features his signature style—self-described as “hillbilly sex crime pop art” and showcases the bold colors and subject matter he is known for in more than a dozen preliminary sketches and drawings and eight large-scale paintings! this should be an exceptional show... don't miss out!
