*RECAP* Super7's 10th Anniversary Party
Last night in San Francisco was a special evening as Super7 celebrated 10 years of being in the designer vinyl game! To celebrate they had one smashing good time with all their fans as they opened their doors at 6pm for the release of this years coveted Lucky Bags... what the heck is that?!?! Well... think about it as buying a really expensive blind-box, and that box is filled with rare, handpainted, samples, one-offs, awesome figures and thanks to the pictures in this post from both Leecifer and DrilOne we have a peek at what was pulled from said bags and a view of what the entire evening was like!
This is not the first year Super7 has done the Lucky Bags, so it's almost something that collectors look forward to every year and it appeared that the rumors about this years bags were true... they were killer, check out DrilOne's pulls above! Along with the party and the bags Super7 also snuck a surprise release into the mix with a new figure dubbed the "Pocket Invisiboy" who sports a Mummy Boy head along with a nice leisurely brown smoking jacket. Super7 pulled out all the stops for this event, transforming the store into part arcade by shipping in retro arcade game cabinets, and having Ben & Jerry's on hand for ice cream... oh and did we mention the had a HUGE trade fest as well... what a cool event! For more event coverage check out Toybot Studios and Kaiju Chronicle, and be sure to hit the jump for a complete slide show from this event and keep those eyes peeled on select retailers for you crack at a Lucky Bag as there are still some to be released!
