Skinner x Lulubell figure revealed... part 2
This whole figure release with Skinner and Lulubell Toys is getting more and more interesting, as just posted up on the Skullbrain forum by Dustin Cantrell was a sketch that Skinner showed him at this past Wonder-Con (ABOVE -Skinner sent me the scan for this same page) ... people have been speculating if this is going to be just a head or a bust, or even a full bodies figure... and I am happy to say that I have the definite answer!
Last weekend I was up in Sacramento for a show that was being held at Dragatomi, and after the show was over we all headed up to Skinner's studio. We were all drinking and having a good time and Skinner pulled me aside, and we walked into his house where he told me that, in his own words "Had something EPIC to show me"! I talked to Skinner and he said that this was going to be the first vinyl/kaiju bust, he said he is super stoked because he has been a HUGE fan of comic books, has a very heavy comic book background, and loves the busts that Marvel and McFarlane makes! His thought was to incorporate elements of his "Skulli-osis" painting, but to have the feel of the Kraken from 'Clash of The Titans', where it is going to be separated into 3 pieces, with movable arms... similar to the same vein as Sam Flores 'Dragon Boy' figure! Skinner kept on saying how fortunate he feels to have Lulubell on board with this, and how elated he is that they agreed to do the kaiju bust approach! Right now all we have is the above sketch I snapped a picture of, but I am sure Lulubell will be revealing more very soon!
