Dem Bonez "The Reconstruction" opens 3/25/2011

Opening up this Friday, March 25th 2011, at Zakka in New York from 6pm-9pm is the much anticipated - Dem Bonez "The Reconstruction" - vinyl custom show! This event is centered around one figure, a vinyl platform created by the godfather of graffiti, SEEN, and features custom works from a talented pool of toy customizers, fine arts painters, sculptors, graffiti and special FX artists including: VISEone, Chauskoskis, Marka, JRYU, Nemo, Billy Roids, Steve Talkowski, Rsin, Nasty Neil, OsirisOrion, Elstabo, Zam, Tony DePew, dinky cow, Mr.Den, Tyler Coey, Trex Wang, Dom Tag, Pon, Norman Meyers, Toi Ogunyoku Jr., Brett Hess, Red Nose, Perry Osman, Moses Jaen, Bryan Lopez, SeeOne, Ian Ziobroski, Fell Young, Phetus, Dave Gittleman, Emi Slade, Steve Riojas, Justin Ramos, SpankyStokes, Erick Rodrigues, Mike Brummett, Tony Montalvo, Masahiro Ito, Rolo Ledezma, Michael McManus, and Saun Landua! What a list!!!!


As the story goes... A few years ago SEEN wanted to produce these crazy rattle can skeleton figures, but the company that was making them couldn't get it quite right so SEEN pulled the plug on the whole project. One day Mr. Den, who had been working with SEEN for the past 13 years, approached SEEN with the idea of letting himself along with Nemo curate a custom show with all the samples that were tucked away in a little dark corner collecting dust, he said "Hey slick, take em' all. Do whatever ya want wit em'." So now here we are today, the blanks have been shipped out, completed and are ready for their debut... will you be there, I sure hope if your in the New York area you make it out... this is a show not to be missed :-)
