Artists battle it out in the 1st "Battle Burn!"

Eric "Phoneticontrol" Broers just sent along some info about a great new show that he is curating at the new Brief Space Gallery. This event is a head-to-head live art tournament that is going to feature 8 artists this time around which include: Brett Amory, Jesse Balmer, N8 Van Dyke, Josh Ellingson, Daniel Fleres, Grant Gilliland, Wednesday Kirwan, and Reuben Rude. These artists get to choose a set of "weapons" including pen, brush, rollers, or crayons and are tasked with a theme which will be chosen through subject matter suggested by the audience... where then the artist is given a 2 minute notice before their round begins. There will be 6 qualifying rounds that last 15min a piece, and the last final round will decide the champion, who will walk away with a whole slew of great prizes. The 1st Battle Burn is on Friday, November 29th, 2010 in San Francisco and promises to be a great event, so come on out and enjoy the show!
