Get To Da Choppa!!! - A group art show

In case you missed it... launched this past Friday, but running until the 16th of October at Latitude 53 Contemporary Visual Culture, 14 local Canadian artists and designers were tasked with customizing replica masks of the T-Series Endoskeleton from the Terminator films. Each will bring their own unique vision in re-imagining and challenging the visage of the iconic robotic killer with an Austrian accent from the future. GET TO DA CHOPPA!! is a D.I.Y., kit-bash, customization show that uses the Terminator mask as a blank canvas to explore themes of: deception, identity, robots-in-disguise and future-lov'n .
