Remedy @ Rivet
Rivet Gallery always hosts some of the best sows around, from custom toys to traditional fine art painting they have it all, and starting this weekend Saturday, October 2nd Rivet will be hosting a show to help raise awareness and donate 25% of the exhibition sales to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Laura of Rivet states "This particular exhibition has a very personal connection to me as I am a breast cancer survivor, being diagnosed less than a week after signing the lease agreement to open Rivet. In it's own way, I'd like this exhibition to help in a small way to further fund the research that played such a role in my own treatment as it has in countless other lives."
Participating artists include:
Kathie Olivas, Nathan Ota, Annie Owens, Dan May, Nathan Jurevicius, Nathan Spoor, Brandt Peters, Andrew Bell, Jason Bacon & Derek Welch (UNKL), George & Ayleen Gaspar (Toy Break/October Toys), Julie West, and Scott Musgrove.
This is going to be a great show, and I am sure touches everyone out there in some way as I am sure we have all been affected by Breast Cancer whether someone in our family or just a close friend has been stricken with this. So come on out and celebrate fr a cure once and for all on Saturday, October 2nd from 7-10PM.
