Artwork stolen from Dragon*Con2010 - Help needed!
An unfortunate event as happened at this years Dragaon*Con as one of Cris Rose's resin "Rumble" figures was stolen from the Rivet Gallery booth while the hall was closed down after hours... this is so horrible and leaves a pit in my stomach just thinking about it, and whoever took this just has no regard for personal property! If you have any info you can contact either Cris via cris@crisrose.co.uk or Laura at Rivet via laura@rivetgallery.com. For more info read the press release below.
///PRESS RELEASE///
The item in question is a 4" tall hand-painted resin "Rumble" robot in very distinctive Gold and Red colouring. This is the ONLY Rumble to be painted gold, so is clearly distinct from every other sold so far. The piece was stolen from the Rivet booth during locked down closed room hours after the vendors hall closed. Dragon Con staff are looking into the matter but nothing has turned up so far. Rivet Gallery were in no way at fault over this matter and have been exhaustive in their efforts to ascertain what has become of it.
We've put together a brief wanted poster and included some additional images of the work for clear identification. It would be great if you could post this up on your site and anywhere else you feel may reach the right people.
