"Billy and The Atomic Esophagus" from Plaseebo
Bob Conge of Plaseebo has been on a custom rampage as of late, but he still finds time to make specific ones for special people... this being the case and the story behind "Billy and The Atomic Esophagus" his latest custom mashup created for his friend who was battling and finally beat esophageal cancer! This custom just like all the Plaseebo ones has very many similarities in it including the amazing LED action (bottom left picture). I love the creepy Beethoven/Mozart head with the wee little hands sticking out the side of some machine with intestines coming out... Grand stuff Bob!
BACKSTORY on "Billy and The Atomic Esophagus":
"This is a custom piece I made for a friend of many years to commemorate his battle and miraculous recovery from esophageal cancer. It is, I think, a trophy of sorts. Billy fought this war courageously for the better part of the past year and returned from deaths door, cancer free, a few weeks ago. We had lunch and I presented him with this small token of my gratitude for our continuing friendship. He replied with a smile."
